THE UK’s leading conservation charity is marking its 40th anniversary with three Great Dorset Plant Fairs being held this year.
Plant Heritage’s first fair takes place at Athelhampton House near Dorchester on Sunday, May 5. Visitors will be treated to a wide range of plants from specialist nurseries and growers across the south west and beyond.
The second fair is being held at Abbotsbury’s Sub-Tropical Gardens on Sunday, June 16, before returning to Athelhampton for the Autumn Fair on September 1.
The fairs are open 10am-3pm and admission costs £7. Profits made will go towards plant conservation, education and other events in Dorset.
