A VERY special cause will benefit from the next lunchtime chamber concert in Weymouth.
The Weymouth Lunchtime Chamber Concert will be in aid of the Melcombe Day Hospital at Weymouth Community Hospital. The hospital assists people with dementia and other conditions in south Dorset, and provided care to pianist Duncan Honeybourne's late father.
Duncan will perform a solo recital at St Mary's Church in the town centre tomorrow (1) from 1pm.
Duncan will include works from Johannes Brahms, Clara Wieck Schumann and John Joubert, who died recently.
Branded “the heroic Duncan Honeybourne” by Musical Opinion and commended for the “suave confidence” of his playing by International Piano magazine, Duncan enjoys a colourful and diverse career as pianist, writer and in music education.
Tickets cost £5 at the door. See weymouthchamberconcerts.com for more information.
