A PLAY about the rather grim reality behind the Hollywood glamour will be performed at Weymouth College.

Scenes Unseen will be brought to the stage of the college's Bay Theatre on Thursday, May 23 at 1pm by performing arts students.

‘‘Would you be brave enough to stand up to a director if your career depended upon it?’

Ever wondered what happens after the cameras stop rolling? Join Sophie at her first audition as she steps into the film industry and discovers for herself a rather more grim reality behind the Hollywood glamour. Will she ever be like her idol Judy Garland?

This is an escapade filled with song, dance and what is said to be the real history behind the stars of the City of Angels. It features work from the #MeToo movement and journeys into the dark side of Hollywood.

The show has an audience 14+ age restriction due to the themes covered.
