IT’S hailed as the most successful David Bowie tribute show. Now the Bowie Experience returns to Dorset with a new production.

It comes to Weymouth Pavilion on Saturday, May 25 at 7.30pm.

The popular show features all of the pop icon’s greatest hits as it takes audiences on an unforgettable journey of sound and vision through David Bowie’s golden years.

Laurence Knight, who lives near Christchurch and plays the ‘Starman’ said: “It’s always great to play hometown gigs so that friends and family can come and enjoy the show as they aren’t always able to travel to the UK tour dates further afield. It also means that I can enjoy a catch up with everyone in the local pub afterwards, and still make it home to my own bed!”

Laurence is a vocalist, actor and multi-instrumentalist who has performed all over globe during the last two decades, including performances at the official David Bowie Is Exhibition at the V&A London and the Royal Albert Hall.

A tour spokesman added: “Whether you’re a music connoisseur or you just know a good song when you hear one, it’s probable that David Bowie has been part of your playlist at some point in your life. Having a career that spanned many decades while remaining robust and creative, ensured David Bowie has been recognised as one of the most influential and radical artists to derive from the UK.”

With an all-British band, Bowie Experience has become the world’s favourite and most authentic tribute to the Thin White Duke, paying great attention to the sound and feel of the music, complete with new authentic costumes, songs and stage set.”
