SEE a master class in mutiny with berets and baguettes!

Les Gloriables, award winning comic theatre from Spitz & Co, is going on tour to rural Dorset and will call in at Broadwindsor near Beaminster on Friday, March 29 at 7.30pm.

Spitz & Co are touring with Artsreach, the county's touring arts charity, following previous sell out tours with Glorilla and Gloriator.

Les Gloriables is the third and final show of their comic trilogy.

Inspired by Victor Hugo’s classic French novel Les Miserables, legendary French actress Gloria Delaneuf is determined to create a piece of theatre with the power to reunite Europe. She has dreamed a dream, and her hapless UK tour manager Josephine Cunningham has promised to build a barricade.

Spitz & Co is an award-winning, internationally touring female comedy duo based in South Gloucestershire. Susie Donkin was part of the writing/performing team behind CBBC’s hugely popular Horrible Histories. Pauline Morel has a background in theatre as an actress and producer and is actually French, but lives in Bristol.

At the heart of this show about socialism and the power of the people, the comic relationship between a selfish diva and her long-suffering assistant plays out. Performed in French and English, with music and visual effects, expect a master class in mutiny (French style) with berets, baguettes, and gratuitous nudity. Vive La Revolution!

Catch Spitz & Co as they bring this riotous production to Broadwindsor (01308 867644) on Friday March 29, Sandford Orcas (01963 220208) on Saturday, March 30 and West Stafford (01305 261984) on Sunday, March 31. Further information and tickets are also available from artsreach.co.uk
