A YEAR on from wowing coaches on ITV show The Voice, Lauren Bannon is heading out on a European tour.

The Weymouth singer, who reached the finals of the talent show, will be touring with American artist Fleurie.

It's a busy time for Lauren, who is also premiering her first music video for her new debut track Into The Fire next month.

Lauren, whose musical pseudonym is Lløren, will take in six cities on her tour, beginning with Stockholm in Sweden on March 19.

Lløren will be singing songs from her new unreleased EP and covers that she sang on The Voice.

The new track Into the Fire, which will be released on March 8, explores Lauren's experiences in overcoming internal struggles, fighting through the mental blocks and being brave enough to start again.

The debut music video reflects this through the character ‘Becky’ the boxer. Becky is positioned as a physical incarnation of Lløren’s internal struggles, which you see with her being beaten down - it’s typically “a metaphor for life beating you down”.

Lløren said: “The fire is about being beaten and still having the courage to go on.

“We used a lot of water imagery in the video. I felt it was a good representation of my ‘state of mind’ metaphors as being unsettled, turbulent, or calm and still."

On The Voice 2018, Lauren achieved the elusive ‘four chair turn’ on her first audition, then going on to reach the finals.

She was shortlisted for UK DIVA Awards' Rising Star award in 2018. In 2019, Lauren Bannon AKA Lløren will be focusing on releasing her first EP since her success on the music TV show. Lløren’s distinctive voice and unusual production style sit her firmly in the genre of cinematic electro-pop.

Into The Fire music video will be available via Lløren’s YouTube, with the single available via all streaming services from March 8.

Lløren said she was thrilled to be touring with Fleurie.

She said: “There’s something raw in the way Fleurie writes that really speaks to something inside me. I really connected with her first album Love and War and was instantly amazed by the music she crafts.

"I really couldn’t think of a better artist to tour with. Our musical styles really compliment each other, and both are very much on the same creative wavelength, so to collaborate with a tour would totally make sense for us in.

"I am so excited to be sharing a stage with someone as talented as Fleurie! Bring on March 19.”
