A CELEBRATION of the music of The Traveling Wilburys and their rock icon members Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison and George Harrison is coming to Dorchester.
The Unravelling Wilburys will play Dorchester’s Corn Exchange on Saturday, March 9 at 8pm.
Enjoy the songs of 1980s ‘supergroup’ The Traveling Wilburys including End of the Line, Handle with Care, The Devil’s Been Busy, Tweeter and The Monkey Man, Heading for the Light, form the basis of the set with choice cuts, such as…… Pretty Woman, You Got It (Orbison), Mr Blue Sky, Evil Woman (Lynne), The Waiting, I Won’t Back Down (Petty), What Is Life, Here Comes The Sun (Harrison), Mr.Tambourine Man, Make You Feel My Love (Dylan) to name a few.
The evening is said to be Country/rock music at its very best, served up with a good helping of humour throughout.
