A STAR of Mock The Week is on the bill for a special night of comedy in Lyme Regis on Saturday, March 23 at the Marine Theatre.

Glenn Moore, whose stand-up show – Glengarry Glen Glenn – was one of 2016’s best shows of the Edinburgh Fringe, will join three comedians

Known for his inventive jokes, Glenn Moore has supported Tiff Stevenson, Josie Long and Alun Cochrane and has appeared on Mock The Week. He’s joined by three other comedians on the bill. Moore was a finalist in the 2011 Chortle Student Comedian of the Year Award whilst studying English Literature at the University of Sheffield, where he created the sketch comedy duo Thunderbards with Matt Stevens. After graduating, he worked as a newsreader on a number of radio stations, whilst performing both solo. Thunderbards was a finalist in the 2014 NATYS: New Acts of the Year Show.

In October 2017 Glenn joined the Absolute Radio breakfast show as a newsreader and 'sidekick'.

He was nominated for the most prestigious comedy prize in the UK, the Edinburgh Comedy Award, for his show Glenn Glenn Glenn, How Do You Like It, How Do You Like It. Moore has written for HuffPost.

Glenn will be joined by Louis Burgess - an online viral sensation, who is one of the most exciting musical comedy acts in the UK and semi finalist in the BBC New Comedy Award. Louis has achieved over 50 million views worldwide for his online comedy videos, best known for his online hits I’m Awake and Long Build Ups and Disappointing Drops. He has featured on Unilad, Viral Thread, Wall Of Comedy, The Poke and Metro.

Jess Fostekew and resident compere Tom Glover are also on the bill.
