*PREPARE for side-splitting laughter as you step into a Music Hall Tavern at Weymouth Pavilion tonight (15).

A show said to be the UK’s premier comedy drag show is back for its sixth year.

Join Mrs T and the “girls” from the Music Hall Tavern from 7.30pm for a magnificent night of dazzling costumes and a cast of unique characters singing and dancing all night long.

The show stars Paul Carroll as as Mrs T, Lee Sanderson as Peggy Lee and features the Showcase international dancers.

*HEAD to Frampton Village Hall tonight (16) to hear rich folk music of Eastern Europe, Turkey and the Balkans.

London-based group She'Koyokh promise a night of exhilarating music for singing, listening and dancing to.This acclaimed groups evolution spans the humble origins of busking at East London's Columbia Road flower market to performing in the famous concert halls of Europe, including Amsterdam's Concertgebouw, the Gasteig in Munich and London's Southbank Centre.

*ACTOR Lucy Stevens will shine a light on the extraordinary life and music of Dame Ethel Smyth: composer, writer and suffragette at Dorchester Corn Exchange tonight (15) at 8pm.

Dame Ethel was the living embodiment of the passion with which Victorian women challenged the “male machine” and the first female composer to have her work performed at both Covent Garden and the Metropolitan Opera in New York.

Ethel Smyth: Grasp the Nettle will be performed with musical accompaniment by Lucy, also a contralto.Call Dorchester Arts for tickets.

*THE colours and textures of four classical guitars will be brought to life at Portesham Village Hall tomorrow at 7.30pm. (16)

The Mela Guitar Quartet will explore the art of a classical quartet to the highest level.

Individually Mela's members have a wealth of concert experience, from performances on BBC Radio 3 and 4, to concerto performances in venues such as the Wigmore Hall, Kings Place and the Purcell Rooms.

*WITH a sound incorporating rock, funk, blues, ska, roots and gypsy rhythms and songs telling stories of wonder and woe you’ve never heard anything like Tankus the Henge before.
