A STUNNING concert performance of The Who’s landmark concept album, Quadrophenia Live! rolls into Dorset next month. Featuring eight-piece band The Goldhawks, the production is backed with large-screen projections of archive footage.
The Who’s second rock opera Quadrophenia was released in October 1973 and peaked at number two on the UK and US charts. It stands as Pete Townshend’s homage to a pivotal moment in British youth culture and tells the story of Jimmy, a Mod, chronicling his dissatisfaction with life, work, love, home, and family life.
Quadrophenia Live! is at Lighthouse Poole on Saturday, February 9 at 7.45pm.
