A MULTIPLE award-winning comic who has starred on many comedy shows will headline a comedy club in Lyme this month.
Carl Donelly, star of Mock The Week, is headlining the Comedy Club at the Marine Theatre in Lyme Regis on Friday, February 23.
Carl’s conversational, silly sense of humour has seen him win a host of awards including Chortle Best Club Comedian and Chortle Best Newcomer 2007. He is the headliner, with Matt Bragg, Matt Stellingwerf, and resident compere Tom Glover also on the bill.
In 2009, Carl performed his debut solo show Relax Everyone, it’s Carl Donnelly! at the Edinburgh Fringe for which he was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer.
Carl appears on Mock The Week, Dave’s One Night Stand, Stand Up for the Week, and Russell Howard’s Good News. He is a regular on radio programmes such as BBC 5 Live’s The Back End of Next Week, and Radio 4’s Loose Ends, as well as being a regular guest on talkSPORT.
