ALTERED Images were an early 1980s Scottish New Wave/post-punk band.

Led by lead singer Clare Grogan, the band branched into mainstream pop music, and had six UK Top 40 hit singles and three Top 30 albums between 1981 and 1983.

Having played recently at 80s festivals such as Let’s Rock and Rewind, Clare Grogan’s Altered Images are at The Exchange in Sturminster Newton on Saturday, March 23 playing hits such as Happy Birthday, Don’t Talk To Me About Love and I Could Be Happy.

Tickets are £21.50 (early bird offer until January 31) from the box office on 01258 475137 or visit stur-exchange.co.uk

Next up is another eighties legend, Mari Wilson who first arrived on the scene with her skyscraper beehive hairdo and fully choreographed twelve piece band The Wilsations. She is at the Exchange on February 8 at 8pm.

And finally Jason Donovan is extending his Amazing Midlife Crisis Tour into 2019 with a final series of dates including a date at the Exchange on February 22.

Celebrating his 50th birthday, this autobiographical show will zigzag back and forth through his life, with stories about Neighbours, Ten Good Reasons, Kylie, Joseph, I’m A Celebrity, Strictly and much more.

Hear some new stories (and possibly one or two you’ve heard before) plus some of the songs you know and love.
