TAKE a break from the pre-Christmas panic and join the Quangle Wangle Choir for a festive concert this weekend.
Hear news of the mid-winter adventure of the Owl and the Pussycat. Be transported to Latvia to celebrate the turn of the year and journey to the 17th century to Drive the Cold Winter Away.
There will be carols and poems, old and new. Also featuring, for the first time, the Quangle 'orchestra' of double bass and ukuleles!
The concert is at St Nicholas' Church, Broadwey, Weymouth, on Saturday, December 15 from 3pm to 4pm.
The church has comfortable chairs and the concert will be followed by refreshments. Tickets are £6 in advance or £7 on the door. Accompanied children go free.
Tickets are available from quanglewanglechoir.co.uk, from members of the choir or from Juliet Harwood on 01305 814940.
