A FAMILY exhibition and vintage display are part of Lyme Regis Town Mill's new exhibitions for the holiday season.

In the Malthouse Gallery from November 29 until December 5, Son & Mother is the first outing together for the artistic Clegg family.

The son is Benjamin: a painter, sculptor, filmmaker and creator of festival light shows who creates oil-on-canvas abstract landscapes of the mind which he hangs on the diamond to change the way we view paintings. The mother is Angela: a landscape artist who also works in oils and creates vibrant abstractions of harbours, buildings and situations. Son & Mother will be open daily from 10.30am to 4.30pm.

This is the first time a family duo has been hosted at the Town Mill galleries.

Meanwhile, Pop-Up Vintage is back for its eighth appearance.

Returning to the Courtyard Gallery, from December 1 until January 3 is this ever popular exhibition, the result of a year spent sourcing, cleaning, mending, repairing and up-cycling a variety of vintage material so that you don’t have to.

Goodies include toys, books, clothes, needlecraft, accessories and home-ware for a beautiful and totally sustainable Christmas.

Pop-Up Vintage is open daily from 10am to 4pm, although closed December 25 and 26.

Admission to these showcases is free, and further details can be found at townmillarts.co.uk
