BORN out of the Parisian old-time and Bluegrass music scene, young trio Fierce Flowers infuse original compositions in French and English with their individual eclectic influences, and this October they will perform live for the first time in four communities across Dorset through Artsreach, the counties touring arts charity.

The sublime vocal harmonies of Léopoldine Guillaume, Julia Zech and Shushan Kerovpyan, combined with viola, banjo, guitar and double bass, create a veritable voyage on stage. Extensively touring across France, Germany, the UK and the USA, Fierce Flowers’ original compositions are ever-evolving and yet stay firmly connected to roots music. With a common passion for the power of Appalachian ballad singing and traditional American music, audiences can expect a passionate performance from this French trio as they head to Dorset this autumn.

Yvonne Gallimore, Artsreach co-director said: “It’s always fantastic to have the opportunity to bring international artists to the rural communities with which we work, and thanks to the support of our funders and local business partners such as Blanchards Bailey, we are delighted to offer four opportunities to see Fierce Flowers right across Dorset this autumn.”
