ACTRESS and impressionist Debra Stephenson takes centre stage at Lighthouse Poole tonight for her Night of 100 Voices .

The star who is currently appearing alongside fellow impersonator Rory Bremner as a panellist on ITV's new The Imitation Game, moved to Poole some eight years ago for health reasons as both her children suffered from bronchiolitis as babies.

She can often be seen rehearsing her impressions and trying out new voices while walking the dog along Sandbanks beach, and will be taking on a huge range of stars in her latest production.

The 46-year-old actress, who is best known for her starring roles in ITV's Bad Girls and Coronation Street, promises to entertain fans as she takes them on a nostalgic journey through six decades of popular music.

Expect plenty of fun and laughter along the way as Debra, who has also appeared in Dead Ringers and The Impressions Show, pays tribute to many of the world's favourite singers, from the classics of Billy Holliday and Barbara Streisand, to more modern stars such as Paloma Faith and Adele, among many others.

Debra first appeared on Opportunity Knocks aged 14 and did voices for Spitting Image at 16. It was following advice from Bob Monkhouse that she began acting - he suggested she diversify her talents - but she says impressions will always hold a special place in her heart.

Tickets for the show, which takes place at the Lighthouse theatre at 7.30pm, are priced £20 and £23, available from the box office on 01202 280000 or online at lighthousepoole.co.uk
