A PLAY set in a sinister old library will provide a few scares on Portland this week.
A Tomb With A View by Norman Robbins is being performed at Royal Manor Theatre, Portland, from today until Saturday.
Directed by Sally Campbell, the production stars many well-known members and sees the return of some much-missed faces.
It is set in an old library presided over by a portrait of a grim faced, mad eyed old man. There, a dusty, lawyer reads a will (involving some millions of pounds) to a family, one member of which has were wolf tendencies, another wanders around in a toga of Julius Caesar and a third member is a gentle old lady who plants more than seeds in her flower beds!
A theatre shuttle service is on offer for anyone from Portland to take them from their house to see the play for £3 for a return journey.
Spaces are limited and must be booked on 01305 860792. Leave your name, telephone number and date you require pick-up. Once you’ve had your shuttle place confirmed, be sure to buy your show tickets. Call 0333 666 3366 for tickets.
