SAVE the world – one bee at a time – in Me & My Bee, a new comedy for children and adults alike with live music.

It will be performed at Dorchester Corn Exchange on Sunday, October 7 at 2.30pm.

Our fuzzy little friends need our help so ThisEgg Theatre company is launching a political party disguised as a party party, disguised as a show. There's only one problem. The bees are dying and without them, we will too.

Me & My Bee tackles this big issue in an intimate manner. The show plays with how we can make what we imagine become real. It is about cause and effect. It is about humans as much as it is about bees. It is about doing more to help, before it is too late.

Devised and performed by Joe Boylan, Josie Dale-Jones and Greta Mitchell, this is said to be an imaginative piece of comic theatre with vitality and immediacy.

ThisEgg makes intimate theatre that connects with audiences, moving them to laugh, cry and imagine; prompting them to ask big questions about the world we live in.

Prior to the show, join ThisEgg Theatre for a workshop and find out all about Bertie the Bee, the different people he meets and the problems he faces in different locations.

Participants will make their own bee puppet friend for Bertie and then create a small scene or setting for them and put on a short group play. The workshop is £4 when you buy a ticket to Me and My Bee or £6 without.

Me & My Bee is supported by public funding through the Arts Council England and the National Lottery.
