THREE very different vineyards are joining forces to launch the first West Dorset Vineyard Trail.

This will run for the duration of English Wine Week, which begins on Saturday, May 25 and continues until Saturday, June 1.

English Wine Week is a national campaign designed to raise awareness of English wine across the country.

From Langham Wine Estate in the east near Dorchester, Bride Valley down towards the sea at Litton Cheney and Furleigh Estate in the west at Salway Ash near Bridport, visitors will experience a range of very different vineyard sites and styles of wine.

Those who visit all three vineyards during English Wine Week will have the chance to win three bottles of the finest Dorset sparkling wine - one from each of the vineyards.

You can visit each winery in any order, all on one day, or spread out over the week.

Pick up a questions sheet at your first vineyard and fill in the answers to vineyard-specific questions as you go

round to all three. Get this signed at each vineyard and leave your full set of answers at the last vineyard visited.

You will be entered into the draw and the winner will be notified by Friday, June 7.
