THE streets and avenues of New York City witness yet more emotional meltdowns in this pithy romantic comedy about the insecurities which threaten every relationship, even the strongest marriages.
Good friends Tobey (Billy Crudup) and Tom (David Duchovny) navigate the choppy waters of their respective relationships, seemingly predisposed to sabotaging any chance at happiness with their partners Elaine (Maggie Gyllenhaal) and Rebecca (Julianne Moore).
There are few surprises and the main characters spark well off each other.
