Dorchester Community Plays Association has staged six community plays over the past 30 years. Spring 2020 sees their seventh play Spinning the Moon take place. With a cast of 140 including musicians led by Tim Laycock and assisted by Alastair Simpson, Spinning the Moon is a compelling tale set shortly after the War of the Roses. Blending historical fact and fiction, drama and comedy, it will easily be one of the most powerful pieces of theatre you will see all year.
Written by Stephanie Dale and directed by Peter Cann, designed by Dawn Allsopp, Assistant Director Penny Levick.
