Dorset County Council -Temporary Closure of Chalk Pit Lane, Litton Cheney

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CHALK PIT
LANE, LITTON CHENEY from its junction with White Way, a distance of approximately 885 metres in a westerly direction. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 14th May 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 20th July 2018.
This order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to lay a new water main in the highway.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; White Way - A35 - Chalk Pit Lane. If you would like further information about the work being undertaken, please call Wessex Water on 01225 528129. Temporary Closure of A352 Littlemayne
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A352 Littlemayne from A352 Came Park Road To Main Road Broadmayne, a distance of approximately 1245 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 26th April 2018 between 0930 and 1530 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 4th May 2018. The road will be open outside of these times, and also over the weekend. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity, and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above. The closure is also weather dependant. This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out carriageway maintenance repairs.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Bere Heath Road, Bere Regis
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BERE HEATH ROAD, BERE REGIS in the vicinity of Tanpits Bridge, for a distance of approximately 30 metres. The order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Monday 30 April 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Sunday 10June 2018. This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out essential
bridge repairs.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of East Chaldon Road
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along the East Chaldon Road in the vicinity of the footbridge just south of the Sailors Return public house, for a distance of approximately 50 metres. The Order is needed to comply with Health and Safety Regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on Monday 30 April 2018 and will remain in force for 18 months. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 11 May 2018. This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out a footbridge replacement scheme.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
