SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL DISTRICT OF TAUNTON DEANE PARISH OF WELLINGTON Temporary Closure of High Street (B3187) and Longforth Road TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along High Street (B3187) and Longforth Road from High Street (B3187); 35m north east and 15m south west of the junction with Longforth Road; including Longforth Road from the junction with B3187 High Street north­westwards for 10m, a total distance of 60 metres. This order will enable Somerset Highways to carry out resurfacing works in this road. The Order becomes effective on 25 April 2018 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to last for 6 evenings 18.30 - 23.30hrs (excluding the weekend). While the closure is in operation an alternative route will be signed on site.
