Public Notice - Licensing Act 2003 Application to vary a Premises Licence
An application has been made to the Licensing Authority for Swindon by Mr Adam Mayhew to vary the Premises Licence issued in respect of Old Town Bowl, Quarry Road, Swindon, SN1 4EN.
The application seeks the following variation:
To amend the licence to allow events to be run any day of the week as opposed to restricted to Saturday and Sunday. This is subject to a maximum number of 10 events per year.
To increase alcohol sales until 22.00 hours
To increase the hours of all other licensable activities until 22.30 hours and to incorporate films as a licensable activity
To increase the number of events per year from 4 to 10
Responsible Authorities (e.g. Police and Fire Brigade), and /or other persons (e.g. people/ businesses living or working within the vicinity), can make representations at any time between Thursday 14 December 2017 and Wednesday 10 January 2018. The full application can be viewed at the above council offices between 09.00hrs & 16.30hrs Monday to Friday.
It is an offence for anyone to recklessly or knowingly make a false statement in connection with a licensing application. The maximum fine on conviction is £5000.
