Temporary Closure of B3163, Storridge Hill, Whitcombe Road, Beaminster DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along B3163, Storridge Hill, Whitcombe Road from its junction with Prout Hill to the junction of Hackthorn Hill, a distance of approximately 2385 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 17th October 2017 between 0930 and 1530 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 25th October 2017. The road will be open outside of these times, and also over the weekend. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity, and the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above. The closure is also weather dependant. This order will enable Dorset County Council to carry out carriageway maintenance works. BT will also be carrying out overhead cabling works at this location during the last 3 days of these works for new customer connection. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. Temporary Closure of Bridge Road/ Wesley Close/Ellesdon, Charmouth
DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along BRIDGE ROAD/WESLEY CLOSE/ ELLESDON, CHARMOUTH, a distance of approximately 300 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 6th November 2017 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30th April 2018. This order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to install new water main and replace services. Notice of Making a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Dorset County Council (Part of Footpath 81, Beaminster at North and South Buckham Farms) Public Path Diversion Order 2017 The above order, made on 6 October 2017 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Footpath 81, Beaminster at North and South Buckham Farms in the West Dorset District as shown on the order map as follows:- From the existing path: From the unaffected part of Footpath 81, south south west of South Buckham Farm at ST 47020351, north north east along the driveway to South Buckham Farm, passing to the west of South Buckham Farm Cottage at ST 47110368 and continuing north north east, passing between South Buckham Farm Cottage and South Buckham Farmhouse, then across fields and a garden area, south west of North Buckham Farm to ST 47240388. Continue north and north east, passing to the west and north of North Buckham Farmhouse to ST 47270392, then south east, through the farmyard, to the unaffected part of Footpath 81, south of North Buckham Farmhouse at ST 47310390. (No recorded width). To a new path: From the unaffected part of Footpath 81, south south west of South Buckham Farm at ST 47020351, east, from the driveway to South Buckham Farm into a field, then north, crossing the field boundary at ST 47040351, and north east across the next field to the field boundary at ST 47160358. Continue north north east along a grass surfaced strip of land to ST 47190364, then north north east, passing to the east of South Buckham Farm Cottage and South Buckham Farmhouse, along the south eastern side of the north western field edge to ST 47270385. Turn north east, passing to the south east of North Buckham Farmhouse to the field boundary at ST 47310389 and continue north north west to rejoin the unaffected part of Footpath 81, east of North Buckham Farmhouse at ST 47310390. The width of this part of Footpath 81 is 2 metres.

Continue north west, across a field and passing to the south west of Lower Barrowfield Farm to ST 46700148, then north, crossing into the next field and north along the western field edge, passing to the west of Lower Barrowfield Farm to ST 46690160. Continue north north west across fields to its junction with the B3183 Broadwindsor Road, north west of Lower Barrowfield Farm at ST 46660168. (No recorded width). To a new way: From the unaffected part of Bridleway 83, south east of Higher Barrowfield Farm at ST 47080127, north and north west across a field to the field boundary north east of Higher Barrowfield Farm at ST 47000136, then north north east to its junction with Footpath 66 and Footpath 88 at ST 47000137. Continue north north east, along the existing route of Footpath 88, to ST 47020145, then north north east (leaving the route of Footpath 88) along the field edge to the south east of Westbrook at ST 47040151. Turn north west, along the field boundary, passing to the south of Westbrook to the corner of its garden boundary at ST 47000154, then north north west across a field to its junction with a grass verge at the edge of the B3183 Broadwindsor Road, north west of Westbrook at ST 46990157. Width: The width of this part of Bridleway 83 is 4 metres. Limitations: Field gate at ST 47080127, Bridle gates at ST 46990157 and ST 47000136, all to BS5709:2006.
