Notice of Modification Order Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Dorset County Council County of Dorset Definitive Map and Statement of Rights of Way Dorset County Council (Part of Bridleway 5, Long Bredy) Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2016

The above Order, made on 14 October 2016, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by-Deleting from them part of Bridleway 5, Long Bredy in the West Dorset District - From the unaffected part of Bridleway 5, 25 metres east south east of its junction with the A35 road at SY 57119130, generally east across a field to the field boundary at SY 57229129, then east south east, crossing into the next field, to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 5 at SY 57249128. (No recorded width).

Adding to them part of Bridleway 5, Long Bredy in the West Dorset District - From the unaffected part of Bridleway

5, 25 metres east south east of its junction with the A35 road at SY 57119130, east along the track to

SY 57179131, then east south east, across fields, to rejoin the unaffected part of Bridleway 5 at SY 57249128.

The width of this part of Bridleway 5 is 3 metres (10 feet as stated in the 1953 Long Bredy Parish Survey).

A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at Reception, County Hall, Colliton Park,

Dorchester during normal office hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there for £10.00. A copy of the

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to Phil Hobson, Senior Definitive Map

Officer, Dorset Highways, Environment and the Economy Directorate, Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton

Park, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1XJ (Ref: RW/T531) not later than 10 March 2017, and applicants are requested to state

the grounds on which it is made. Any letters received will be made available for public inspection.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Dorset County

Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for the Department for Environment, Food and

Rural Affairs may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State, any representations or

objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

Temporary Prohibitation of Right Turns, Cornwall Road - Damers Road And Damers Road - Maumbury Road, Great Western Cross Junction,

Dorchester

DORSET COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. The Order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. The Order will come into effect, from the 23 January 2017 to the 19 May 2017. But it will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.

The Order is to allow Dorset Highways safe access forworks associated with the DTEP junction upgrade. The effect of the Order is as follows;

[1] To impose a right turn ban from Cornwall Road into Damers Road and from Damers Road into Maumbury Road to help reduce congestion during the scheme as 5 way temporary traffic signals will

be in operation.

The County of Dorset (Prince of Wales Road and South Walks Road, Dorchester) (Banned Turns and Pedestrian Crossing Scheme)

In connection with the above scheme Dorset County Council in exercise of powers under relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 proposes to:

1. Make an Order to ban right turns from Prince of Wales Road into South Walks Road and left turns from South Walks Road into Prince of Wales Road.



2. Remove the existing Pelican crossing from its current position on South Walks Road approximately 32 metres east of its junction with Prince of Wales Road and install a new Puffin crossing approximately 12 metres east of its junction with Prince of Wales Road.

The County of Dorset (Greenford View, Maiden Newton) (Disabled Parking Bay) (No.) Order 201'

Dorset County Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act I984 ('the Act') and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulations I996 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce a disabled parking bay at Greenford View, Maiden Newton. Exemptions will permit waiting for picking up or setting down passengers, post office vehicles delivering and collecting mail, emergency service vehicles and vehicles in connection with any building or demolition operation, the maintenance of the road, the supply of gas, water or electricity and works to any telegraphic line. This proposal is directly associated with 'The County of Dorset (Various Roads in the District of West Dorset) (Consolidation of Orders made for the Regulation of Traffic) Order 20I4' in that it is an amendment to that Order. Full details of this proposal are contained in the Draft Order, which together with plan showing the length of road affected and a statement of the County Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected from Monday to Friday during normal office hours at:-
