Temporary Traffic Management Order of St Katherines Drive & St Andrews Road, Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 26 January 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 19 February 2021. This Order will enable Western Power Distribution, safe access to replace apparatus in substation.
The effect of the order is as follows and the restrictions will be operational as and when indicated by signs on site;
[1] To impose a road closure on St Katherines Drive from its junction with St Andrews Road for a distance of approximately 15 metres.
[2] To impose a temporary parking restriction on St Andrews Road at either side of St Katherines Drive.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed.

Temporary Closure of Fishweir Lane, Bradpole, Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along FISHWEIR LANE, BRADPOLE, BRIDPORT, between its junction with Village Road and its junction with Fishweir Fields, a distance of approximately 150 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 11 January 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2 April 2021. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out drainage works. A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of North Allington, Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along NORTH ALLINGTON, BRIDPORT between its junction with West Street and its junction with Hospital Lane, a distance of approximately 650 metres. Please note that the closures will be on a rolling programme and the whole extent shown will not all be closed at one time. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 8 February 2021 and will remain in force for 18 months. However it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 March 2021. This Order will enable Wessex Water, safe access to carry out sewer rehabilitation works.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; B3162- A3066-B3163-B3162. Temporary Closure of Public Footpath No 17, Symondsbury
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath No 17, from grid reference SY 460 920 to grid reference SY 461 921, a distance of approximately 80 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 24 January 2021, for a period of 26 weeks. But it may be extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary. The order is required to allow the continuation of the previous Order for a building development to take place. There will be a locally signed diversion in place.
