District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Oake Temporary Closure of Allerford Road
TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Allerford Road for a distance of approximately 171 metres. This order will enable Sunbelt Rentals Ltd to carry out annual inspection of the level crossing on behalf of Network Rail.
The Order becomes effective on 19 November 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 23rd November 2020 and last until 24th November 2020 between the hours of (22:00 - 06:00) for a total of 1 night.
