Notice is hereby given that Somerset County Council proposes to make an Order under Section 3 of The Cycle Tracks Act 1984 for a cycle track BW3/16 from the A38, Bristol Road, BW38/35 and BW38/2 (part), Bridgwater. The effect of the Order is to provide a shared use Cycle Track. Full details are in the Schedule below.

Persons wishing to object to the proposed Order may do so in writing, specifying the grounds on which it is made, to Somerset County Council, Traffic Management, B2 West, County Hall, Taunton, TA1 4DY, quoting Reference No. KT31072020 and received no later than 21 days from the publication of this notice.

a shared use Cycle Track The following length to be used as part of Bridgwater's Cycle Route network
1. Public Footpath BW3/16, 3 metres wide for a length of 107 metres
2. Public Footpath BW38/35, 3 metres wide for a length of 90 metres
3. Public Footpath BW38/2 (part), 3 metres wide for a length of 960 metres
STATEMENT OF REASONS The purpose of the Order is for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising and also for facilitating the safe passage of cyclists and pedestrians on the highway
