Somerset County Council A39 Puriton Hill, Puriton in the Parishes of Puriton and Bawdrip (Temporary One Way (Westbound)) Order 2020
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary one way (westbound) as specified in the Schedule below.
This Order will come into operation on the 29th September 2020 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
Works with respect to the temporary one way are expected to commence on the 9th October 2020 until the 12* October 2020 (Friday 19:00 hours - Mon 07:00 hours) and 16th October to the 19* October 2020 (Friday 19:00 hours - Mon 07:00 hours), the restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic (Westbound)
A39 Puriton Hill, Puriton(westbound traffic only) -From the junction with A39 Bath Road to the Dunball Interchange roundabout (M5 Junction 22) Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road, or
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
