SECTION 14 - THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDERS FOR ROAD CLOSURES

Notice is given that SWINDON BOROUGH COUNCIL intend to make following temporary orders: (STR000086 Mount Pleasant, Hinton Parva) This Order is being introduced to allow installation of a valve and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on Mount Pleasant at the junction with Hockerbench. Traffic to be diverted via Hockerbench and Incknield Way. The Order will be effective from the 5 October 2020 for 6 months but it is expected the road closure will only be in force on the 5 to 7 October 2020. (STR000085 St Philips Road, Stratton St Margaret) This Order is being introduced to allow works to manhole and will prohibit vehicles from proceeding on St Philips Road between Orchard Grove and Beechcroft Road. Traffic to be diverted via Beechcroft Road and Dores Road The Order will be effective from the 24 September 2020 for 6 months but it is expected the closure will be in place on the 24 September 2020 between the times of 9.30am to 4pm.
