Variation Order of Temporary Traffic Management Order of Bridport Market
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be restricted from using Loading & Parking bays except those authorised by the organisers of Bridport Market as indicated by signs on site. The Order is needed in orderto comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 22 August 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. This Order was made on 26 June 2020, however we need to vary item 3 as its varying previous Order.
This Order will enable Bridport Town Council, safe access to facilitate the Bridport Market on Wednesday's and
Saturday's and ensure government advice around social distancing can be implemented.
The following temporary restrictions will be in place every Wednesday and Saturday between 0700 and 1700;
[1] South Street between the book shop and the launderette, loading bay & disabled parking bay to be restricted
[2] South Street outside Bridport Library, Permit (C)/restricted one hour parking bay to be restricted
[3] East Street between The Greyhound and Palmer Snell, parking restrictions & loading bay to be restricted
[4] South Street between Toymasterand Gary Pitcher Locksmith, to provide parking for Residents Permit holders (C)

Temporary Traffic Management Order of A3066 St Andrews Road & Sea Road North, Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in orderto comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 August 2020 between 0900 and 1600 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 4 September 2020.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out surfacing works.
The effect of the order isto impose a temporary speed restriction of 10mph within the working area (as indicated by signs on site), at any point along the A3066 St Andrews Road and Sea Road North, Bridport to facilitate the use ofaconvoy working vehicle.

Temporary Closure of Church Street, Beaminster
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along CHURCH STREET, BEAMINSTER from its junction with Tower Hill for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a westerly direction. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimisethe likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 7 September 2020 and will remain in force for 18 months. however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 September 2020
This Order will enable Western Power Distribution, safe access to excavations to underground overhead service
cables.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Shadrack Street - A3066- Church Street. Temporary Closure of Downes Street, Bridport
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along DOWNES STREET, BRIDPORT, for its entirety. The Order is needed in orderto comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 5 September 2020 on Saturdays only between 0700 and 1700 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary. This Order will enable Dorset Council to allow Bridport Town Council to safely facilitate stalls for Bridport Market whilst ensuring social distancing measures can be maintained.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections. DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in orderto comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 5 September 2020 on Saturdays only between 0700 and 1700 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to allow Bridport Town Council to safely facilitate the Bridport Market whilst ensuring social distancing measures can be maintained. The effect of this Notice is as follows:
[1] To suspend the taxi rank bay between Scrivens Opticians and Hays Travel, the length of approximately 3 cars.
