Somerset County Council West Street and Durieigh Road, Bridgwater
in the Parish of Bridgwater (Temporary Parking Restrictions) Order 2019
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, intends to make an Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of waiting, loading and unloading on the roads specified in the Schedule below.
This Order will come into operation on the 31st day of December 2019 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
The Works are expected to commence on 6* day of January 2020 until 11th day of January 2020 and the restrictions will only apply when indicated by traffic signs.

Temporary Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading
West Street, Bridgwater (South) - From a point 20 metres south of the junctions with the A39 North Street and A39 Broadway for a distance of 25 metres in a westerly direction
Durieigh Road, Bridgwater (South) - From a point 25 metres south west from the junction with Northfield in a westerly direction to the junction with Oakfield Road
Durieigh Road, Bridgwater (North) - From the junction with Oakfield Road in an easterly direction for a distance of 172 metres
Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road, or
b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works
