Notice of Making a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Dorset Council (Part of Footpath 22, Beaminster at Northfield Farm) Public Path Diversion Order 2019
The above order, made on 19 October 2019 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Footpath 22, Beaminster at Northfield Farm as shown on the order map as follows:-
From the existing way:
From the unaffected part of Footpath 22, north west of Northfield Farm, at ST 48680250, generally south south east across a field to ST 48760230, then south east passing through farm buildingsto a farm track, west of Northfield Farm at ST 48840220 and continuing south east along the trackto its junction with Footpath 23, south south east of Northfield Farm at ST 48890211. (No recorded width) To a new way:
From the unaffected part of Footpath 22, north west of Northfield Farm at ST 48680250, south east along the north eastern edges of three fields (via ST 48850240 and ST 48970234), to ST 49040228, then north east along a track for a distance of 3.4 metres before crossing into the next field to its junction with Footpath 24, north east of Northfield Farm at ST 49050228. The width of this part of Footpath 22 is 2 metres. Limitations: Pedestrian gates at ST 48850240, ST 48970234 and ST 49040228 and a field gate at ST 49050228. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Dorset Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State forthe Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
