WE would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of the Bridport community and the congregation of the United Church who so generously donated gifts to the toy service in aid of the Salvation Army.
There are 300 children in our area that Captain Slater and his team need to deliver to this Christmas.
He also hopes to give every child who is in Dorset County Hospital on Christmas Day a gift to open as well as all the fantastic gifts that you so kindly donated. He now feels more confident that he will achieve his aims.
Thank you, each and everyone, who gave – and remember, when you open your own gifts this Christmas, thanks to you, there is a child somewhere close by, opening a gift from you, maybe their only gift this year.
God bless you all and we wish you a well deserved happy Christmas.
