I WENT to watch The Queen Bees, the Bridport Ladies Football team and a children’s team playing at St Mary’s Recreational Ground the other evening and was appalled to see that they had to clear up piles of dog foulings before they could even commence their games.

The owners of the dogs should be faced with a hefty fine for allowing this disgusting habit and health risk for those who enjoy using the park. Should not the council put penalty notices up in the park and dog litter bins to try and get this under control beforeit becomes a complete dogs cesspit that everyone will want to stay clear of?
