For about six or seven years we have held a coffee morning for Children in Need and raised a lot of money for this charity.
However this year we decided instead to send any money we could raise direct to Julia’s House by holding a tea party as publicised in the Bridport News This was held on August 27 here at our home in Caley Way, Bradpole and once again we were overwhelmed by people’s kindness and generosity.
As you can understand we would like to be able to extend our thanks for their support and to tell them that this raised £335.
As this will be our last fundraising event in our home we would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported our efforts in the past which, for us, have proved very enjoyable and worthwhile.
