Thank you Dorset County Council and its hard-working workmen, in this devastating weather.
A pothole was reported and mended in the pouring rain within two days. Leaves and litter were swept by a road-sweeper in two days. Getting trees cut took a little longer and the sleeping policeman by the police station was mended very quickly.
On another topic, this is a tourist area and yet we could lose another bus, the 47.
I know money is tight, but these bus cuts affect the infrastructure of Dorset and the livelihoods of the people who make Dorset what it is.
The powers-that-be should think very carefully, otherwise we will be like Dawlish, with only one lifeline.
This area of outstanding natural beauty, the Jurassic coast, needs its transport.
