BRIDPORT Reserves fell victim to a first-half blitz from Portland United last night.
The Bees found themselves 5-0 down at the break courtesy of an Adam Linaker hat-trick - two of which came from the spot - and fine strikes from wide men Mitch Conning and Ashley Smith.
The hosts improved in the second half but the damage had been done.
The reserves will look to bounce back when they visit Wareham Rangers this Saturday.
