BRIDPORT have been saved a long trip to Devon this evening after their league encounter with Ilfracombe Town was postponed.
The home side's pitch failed a midday inspection with the waterlogged playing surface being deemed too hazardous.
It comes just three days after the Bees' home clash with Gillingham Town was called off for the same reason.
Boss Trevor Senior and his players will attempt to go again on Saturday when Buckland Athletic visit St Mary's Field in the Toolstation Western Premier Division (3pm).
Meanwhile, Dorchester Town Reserves' home match against Bashley has also be called off with the visitors unable to raise a side.
