WEST Bay Sea Angling Club would like to express their gratitude to GPO/Telecom staff and friends for a donation of funds raised at their annual lunch in memory of the late Fred Bowditch.

The money donated will be spent in a manner befitting the club’s late president.

Meanwhile, new members are welcome to join the club for the current fee and enjoy membership for 2015 as well as the rest of this year.

The shore and junior sections still have plenty of fixtures left in 2014 and the latest shore matches produced some interesting results.

Lyme Regis, 7pm-10.30pm No wind and a small tide pointed to a hard night’s fishing – and so it proved.
