A GROUP of 11 Bridport Barracudas started their competition season when attending the Poole Open Meet.
They attained a massive 27 personal bests (pbs) and 15 medals between them, which is a fantastic start so early in the season.
Luke Mahoney and Daniel Hussey achieved two pbs in their first open competition.
Kirron Wheeler earned three pbs, a silver medal in the 200m individual medley and a bronze in the 400m freestyle.
Daniel Van Zyl bagged three pbs and a bronze medal in the 50m backstroke, while Caitlin Sloman claimed one pb.
Harry Stewart collected two pbs, a gold medal in the 100m breaststroke, a silver in the 50m freestyle and a bronze in the 200m freestyle.
Meanwhile, Georgina Mackey won three gold medals in the 50m, 100m and 200m breaststroke, and a bronze in the 200m individual medley.
Chloe Burns earned five pbs, a silver medal in the 400m individual medley and a bronze medal in the 200m backstroke, while Holly Dickinson achieved three pbs.
Cole Dickinson scooped four pbs, two gold medals in 50m and 100m backstroke and two bronze medals in 200m backstroke and 100m individual medley.
Charlotte Hussey bagged three pbs and a bronze medal in the 50m backstroke and Henry Wyrill got two personal bests and two gold medals in 200m backstroke and 50m fly.
