BEAMINSTER School riders had another weekend of success at Bicton Arena.

Emily Chubb along with Poppy and Millie McIntyre represented the school in the NSEA Dressage qualifiers.

All three girls rode lovely tests gaining good scores.

Chubb rode her first novice Test on her pony and was happy to be placed fourth.

Meanwhile, Bicton Arena also hosted the NSEA Jumping with Style competition.

Tabitha Bluck on Certain Flair, competing as an individual, rode a lovely clear round in Class One (70-75cm).

Isabel Hallett on her new horse, Birchill’s Mandela, Mollie Diment on Choc, Abigail Humphreys on Tigora and Maddie Ware on Whatabout Smee were Beaminster’s team for this event.

The Jumping with Style course consisted of nine showjumping fences followed by nine cross country jumps and was judged on gaining a clear round and on riding style.

The girls all rode brilliant rounds on a tricky course for the showjump ponies who were not used to the rustic fen- ces.

It was a large class of nearly 30 teams and the girls were overjoyed to be placed fourth and qualifying for Keysoe Championships in December.
