SEATON Tennis club are welcoming visitors and members alike to a day of free coaching and different tennis activities to try from 10am-4pm on Saturday.
Local MP Neil Parish, the Mayor of Seaton, Tony Woodman, Cllr Jim Knight and representatives of the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) along with local tennis leagues will be there in the morning to welcome visitors of any age and ability.
Rackets and balls will be provided for anyone new to the game and absolutely anyone can get involved. Whether you’ve never picked up a racket before or are a seasoned regular, all ability levels are welcome so book your session today!
The coaching team will be on hand to coach you, inspire you, knock a few balls around with you or just answer your questions.
Free refreshments will be provided and members will be on hand to show you our wonderful club and facilities.

9.30am – Tots (under 5 years)
10am – Mini Tennis Red, Orange and Green Coaching session (5-10 years)
10am – Adult Beginner/Improver coaching session
11am – Welcome from Chairman with MP, Mayor of Seaton and other distinguished guests
11am – 11-16 years yellow ball coaching session
11am – Adult Intermediates/Advanced coaching session
Noon – Cardio Tennis Drills for all ages
1-4pm – Courts free for open play and practice for juniors and adults, coaches on hand to give training tips and hints
Seaton Tennis club runs more club sessions for its members than any other tennis club locally – five midweek and two weekend mixed club sessions run every week all year round.
There are eight teams playing in the local leagues and the club has an active social scene with lunches and suppers, quiz nights, themed tournaments with barbecues and tennis weekends and holidays.
