BRIDPORT Reserves’ ace Jack Scovell is set to play his last game for the Bees this weekend before heading to university.

The St Mary’s Field star is set to be part of the Bridport squad when they host Holt United, the side directly below Shaun Annetts’ men in the Dorset Premier League Table tomorrow (3pm).

“It will be a good game and we are back at home which will be nice,” Annetts told Echosport.

“It will be Jack’s last game before he goes off to university in Liverpool.

“He is going to try and get into a university side and play a good level up there.

“We are going to miss him, he is a hugely talented player that is capable of playing in the first-team. At our level he is outstanding and has been superb.

“Jack has said that he will certainly be back in around the Christmas period and will still be looking to play then.

“If he decides he wants a weekend at home then he might just come back on a Friday night and play for us. We hope we can get a good result and send him on his way.”

Sam Day and Chris Herbst are also expected to miss out through suspension.

Elsewhere in the division, league leaders Balti House host Westland Sports at Weymouth College (3pm), looking for their eighth win out of nine.

Marco Nott’s men currently top the pile on goal difference.
