JUNIOR students from Bridport and Exeter Aikido Club successfully graded at Bridport Leisure Centre.
The following belts were awarded: Tom Hillman gained a white belt (two yellow stripes), Finlay Turner (yellow belt), Callum Birkett (orange belt), Conan Birkett (2nd orange belt) and Annabelle Saint (blue belt, three dark purple stripes).
Saint did especially well as she earned three stripes, which is rare. Her grading was smooth and focused and she had strong Ki during her test.
The grading was overseen by Sensei Jake Birkett (3rd Dan) from Bridport Aikido Club.
The club trains on Monday and Wednesday evenings in the main hall at Bridport Leisure Centre from 7.40pm until 9.40pm.
