ACES: Margaret Martin and Colin Wilson
MARGARET Martin and Colin Wilson triumphed at Beaminster Tennis Club’s Summer Tournament.
The trophy presented to the winners, was first played for in 1989, making 2014 the 25th anniversary of the competition.
It was a particular pleasure for club members that Martin was a trophy winner.
As secretary and team captain, she has made an invaluable contribution to the club over many years together with treasurer Pat Allen.
The club is always happy to welcome new members and holds sessions on Monday and Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings.
