Bridport Under-11s have been crowned Dorset League Division Three champions, sealing promotion to the second tier, after a comprehensive 12-1 victory at Chickerell United.

The Bees needed to win by six clear goals to lift the title and they started well with four goals in the first two minutes from Cameron Sayers (2) and George Wyrill (2).

James Cox then added a quickfire hat-trick, in just eight minutes, to put his side 7-0 ahead at half-time.

Harrison Tuck and Jaydon Brown scored a brace each while an own goal rounded off an impressive display.

Also taking on Chickerell opposition, the under-9s enjoyed a fine 6-1 victory at home.

Bridport played some great attacking football and two own goals put the home team in the lead early on.

Ethan Robertson added two further strikes and although the Chickens pulled one back after the break, Robertson completed his hat-trick and Jacob Hussey sealed the win.

The under-10s lost 1-0 at AFC Chesil Devils but the under-10 Jets had a comfortable 3-0 win at home to Portland United.

Josh Craven got the ball rolling with a brace and Marcus Burt added the third.

The under-14s went down 3-2 at home to Weymouth Terras, the under-15s won 5-4 away at Portland United while the under-13 Bees were defeated 4-2 by Gillingham Town.
