Bridport have returned to pre-season training as they step up their preparations for the forthcoming Southern Counties South campaign.
Piloting the squad once again are coaches Paul Ninnim and Chris Burton, while Alan Stearck is to assist with injury rehabilitation work.
Thus far the emphasis has been on conditioning and basic skills, but the focus will switch to match training next month ahead of a number of pre-season friendlies.
Bridport travel to Ivel Barbarians on August 21 followed by a trip to Honiton a week later. The Blues will then entertain Chard on August 31.
The turnout at pre-season training has been promising for the time of year but there is space for new players to join the club and vie for a place in the team.
Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Brewery Ground, commencing at 7pm. For further information contact coach Ninnim on 07976 918559.
Meanwhile, Bridport are hoping to benefit from a couple of sessions with Socious Sports coaches, who are down for a week-long school for juniors players from Monday, July 26.
Mthoko Jali, an expert South African coach, and Tom Lawrence, a Kiwi who has been involved with Socious Sports before, will conduct events.
A few places are still available and further details can be found on the Socious Sports website at socioussports.co.uk
