WITH the new Bridport RFC Junior season commencing on Sunday, September 2, the Blues are looking to build on their strong membership.

Registration will take place followed by training on every Sunday in September, 10am to 12pm.

New players can join completely free for the first four weeks of the season, before committing to membership. The junior annual membership fee provides full club kit, all match fees, RFU-qualified coaches, full RFU insurance, free post-match meals and end-of-season awards.

At £65, this membership is less than £2 per session and there are reduced fees for additional family members.

The club is looking for new players of all ages and abilities. Boys and girls from school year two and upward are welcome and children from six to eight years old play at tag rugby, introducing them to the game before moving into the contact game at age nine.

It does not matter if older children have never played the game. With Bridport’s qualified coaches they will find that rugby provides teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship.
